The USSSA Southern Nationals for 14U, 16U and 18U runs July 23-25, 2027 at FireLake Ballfields in Shawnee, Oklahoma - an all-turf complex, so rain costs you less of a weekend. Five games guaranteed: two seeded 80-minute pool games Friday, double-elimination brackets Saturday, then Elite 8 plus Gold and Silver brackets Sunday.
Entry is $999 for all divisions. This is not a stay-to-play event. Outside food and drink are allowed at FireLake, coolers welcome, no cooler fee. Kids 17 and under are free at the gate.

The Southern Nationals is not a stay-to-play event. Your team books wherever it wants - no required hotel, no room-block minimum, no penalty for staying with family or driving in each day.

No. There are no Opening Ceremonies at the 14U–18U event. Check in at the park before your first game Friday.
Entry is $999 all divisions and covers your team's games, umpires, USSSA sanction and the awards package. It does not include gate admission for spectators.
The gate is cashless: card at the gate or buy passes online ahead of time. Buying online before the weekend costs less than the walk-up gate price. Kids 17 and under are free. Each team's manager receives coach passes by text before the event. 2027 gate prices post when tickets go on sale.
100% refund if you drop by Friday, July 9, 2027 at 5:00 PM CT. Email info@DFWSoftball.com to drop. After that deadline, entry fees are non-refundable.

Hats go to the Gold bracket only. Divisions with 20 or more teams award Elite 8 hats; divisions with 12 to 19 teams award Final 4 hats. A division gets one or the other, never both, and divisions under 12 teams do not award hats. Details: Championship hats.
